When changing a bobbin on an industrial plain sewer it is important to make sure the setup allows the thread in your bobbin to flow smoothly. There are some key actions to take when changing a bobbin and we have created a video to demonstrate these. You can watch this video below.

When you change a bobbin on your plain sewer it is also worth your while to insert an empty bobbin onto the bobbin winder function on your machine so that while you work away, you have the next bobbin being wound. This offers a reduction in down time and is a great design feature on industrial plain sewers you should make the most of. Towards the end of the video, we also demonstrate this dual setup process allowing you to wind bobbins at the same time you are sewing. Note you do require two rolls of thread to wind a bobbin and sew at the same time.
